Founded by Bec & Nikki, the sister duo behind Australian children’s label Lacey Lane, Chasing Oso was created for girls who love to move. From gymnastics and dance to running, climbing and everyday play, the brand was built on comfort, durability and confidence.

But the name has always meant something personal.

“Chasing Oso” means chasing Bear - a nickname given to Bec’s daughter Mia when she was little. We’ve always called her Bear, and to this day, we still do. She grew up inside this brand, wearing the pieces, testing them out and quite literally living the life it was created for. As a world-level acrobatic gymnast who has represented Australia multiple times on the international stage, movement has always been a huge part of who Mia is.

Now, 10 years on, the brand has come full circle.

At just 17, Mia now designs and runs Chasing Oso, bringing a fresh, youth-led perspective shaped by the very girls we create for. She understands what they want to wear, how they want to feel and how they move because she’s right there with them.

Today, Chasing Oso is still rooted in family, but driven by the next generation. Every piece is made for kids who love to move freely, feel strong and chase whatever lights them up.
