At just 13 years old, Imogen is the definition of resilience, determination, and quiet strength, and we are so proud to celebrate her as this month’s Chasing Oso Athlete of the Month.

Balancing trampolining, tumbling, and AFL, Imogen is no stranger to hard work. But what truly sets her apart isn’t just her talent, it’s her mindset.

After facing an injury that could have easily held her back, Imogen showed incredible persistence. Instead of stepping away, she leaned in. Through consistent effort and determination, she unlocked a new skill in trampolining, a half out. This is a huge milestone that reflects just how hard she’s been working behind the scenes.

Despite only playing half a season of AFL due to injury, Imogen was awarded the Best & Fairest, a testament to her impact, effort, and team spirit every time she stepped onto the field. That kind of recognition isn’t just about performance, it’s about heart, attitude, and showing up no matter what.

Imogen reminds us that progress isn’t always linear. It’s about pushing through the tough days, backing yourself, and celebrating every small win along the way.

Quote of the month: “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” — C.S. Lewis
